How To Look Good Wearing Jewellery

Author: Jewel De Palace

With all the nice and beautiful jewellery collection that we have, so how to buy it as an informed customer and how to wear the right piece at the right time and how you can use it to bring out the best in you.

Jewellery - The word comes from the French word joiel, which means “joy”. What a nice word. That is why girls just simply got excited and fascinated when come to Jewellery. But on the other hand, jewellery can be a form of frustration, uncertainty and indecisive for some girls.

How to wear them with “joy” and “confidence”, be it whether it’s a cubic zirconia, crystals, simple earrings, pearls and fashion necklace. It is all about some guidelines, techniques and observations in order to buy any jewellery with confidence and wear them well.

You’ll become familiar with the basic essentials, and then learn to choose your jewellery so that it makes a wonder to add them in to your collections, wardrobe, appearance, and self-confidence.

Do’s and Don’ts

1) Go simple when going big and bold. If you're going to wear large bangle or necklaces, don't wear dainty jewellery too. Also, try to stick to solid color, simple clothes rather than frills or prints. Big, bold and beautiful jewellery should be the main limelight of your outfit.

2) Wearing bold jewellery takes confidence. If you're wearing a large cocktail ring, don't wear other rings else except maybe your wedding ring. Cocktail rings are hot and in trend now, you can leave your diamonds at home as cocktail rings come with great varieties, designs and colours. And of cause it is much more affordable than real diamonds.

3) We were once told not to mix metals, but who cares about the old school rules nowadays? Or the fashion disaster label that we carry. Wearing gold with silver are fashionable now! The trick is, if you want to mix metals, keep the style of the jewellery the same. A modern gold cuff will not look good with a pair of diamond earrings. The stacking metal pieces are chic now. The stacking gives the perfect look in how the mixing of metals are to be. You can wear layer of gold and silver necklaces for a fashion-forward look. Sometimes rules were meant to be broken haha.

4) Jewellery is just like choosing and wearing clothes, most important is that you feel comfortable with what you wear and carry. But do not stop trying out what really suits you. You should always experiment it with colours, style and of cause age and event should be well consider during your selection. Don’t be afraid to mix styles, or colours. Jewellery sets (which includes matching necklace, earrings, bracelet and a ring) are always thought as a complete look for any event. However do not wear them all at once unless you want to feel like a bride of the day. You should always balance your jewellery piece. A necklace goes perfectly with a ring, and earrings are fabulous match with a bracelet, you may compliment them with your wedding ring.

5) So how to accessories that little black dress? You don't want to wear too much jewellery. However if you decide to forego the necklace, instead wear a bracelet adorned with diamonds, stones or crystals and go with another stunning earring and you are all set for the event!

The selection of jewelleries is a very personal affair, it is very important that you feel comfortable and confident with what you wear. But jewellery is also very special thing that require good taste, thorough consideration and try an error spirit.
